Palliative vs. Hospice Care: Debunking the Myths

Tuesday, September 3 at 11 a.m.

Ashlynn Beisner, Community Outreach Specialist, will be presenting on the history of how hospice care originated, who is eligible to receive this care, what it includes, and how it keeps us and our loved ones out of the hospital. She will also discuss the benefits of palliative care and the difference it can make in the lives of us and our loved ones. Light refreshments will be provided by EverHeart.

Join us as Naturalist Chad Arment shares his passion and knowledge of local dragonflies and damselflies.

Wednesday, September 18 at 11 a.m.

Join local historical researcher, Hannah Wiest to learn about how to safely handle and preserve a variety of different heirlooms, so they can be enjoyed for generations to come as well as how to use clothing to determine approximately when antique photos were taken. Feel free to bring a photo or an heirloom with you for specific advice.
