Summer Reading Kickoff

Wednesday, June 4

Join us for the kickoff of our 2025 Summer Reading Program! Kids and teens that sign up for the SRP today will be entered in a special drawing for a goodie basket filled with fun Color Your World themed prizes. We'll also have crafts in the Storytime Room! Adults can check out our six awesome prize baskets and pick up some entry slips!

Lemonade Bar

Wednesday, June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.

In celebration of our Summer Reading Kickoff, we'll be hosting a Lemonade Bar will all the fixings! Use our fun mix-ins to make your favorite flavor or create something new. And be sure to grab a cookie or two while you're here!

Grab a snack and create something fabulous with our insane Lego collection. Stick to the monthly theme or go off script and make something crazy!

Special D-Day Movie Event

Friday, June 6 at 1 p.m.

In memory of D-Day, stop by and watch the first two episodes of the captivating miniseries, Band of Brothers. Watch as the Allied forces prepare for and storm the beaches of Normandy in the largest seaborne invasion in history which included attacks by land, air, and sea. Kids should be accompanied by an adult for this event.

Sand Art -- Help us kick off School-Age Tuesdays by making a colorful sand creation! This event is only open to 30 kids ages 6 to 12, so be sure to sign up!

Picnic on the Lawn

Tuesday, June 24 from noon to 1 p.m.

Bring your picnic favorites and join us for lunch on the library lawn. We'll supply hot dogs and cookies, you bring the rest! If you plan to join us, we ask that you register before Friday, June 20 to ensure we make enough hot dogs. In the event of rain, we'll move inside to the Storytime Room.

All skill levels are welcome! Whether you're experienced or looking to learn, join us for Crochet Club. Bring your latest project and your lunch, or stop in to learn the basics. Yarn and hooks are provided for those new to the craft!

Classic Movie Matinee

Thursday, June 26 at 1 p.m.

Bring your favorite movie snacks and drinks to this free showing of the 1981 adventure film, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Starring Harrison Ford, this movie has a run time of 2 hours. In addition to snacks, we recommend a sweater for anyone who is easily chilled.

Bring Your Own Book Club

Thursday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m.

Ever wanted to be in a book club but hate being told what to read? Then BYO is perfect for you! Bring whatever you're currently reading or your latest favorite and chat with others about what books are on their radar. Ages 14 and up are welcome, but we ask that those unable to drive are picked up promptly at 6:30.
